What do we mean by mental health and learner centered?

Answer:

Supporting All Students with Accountability and Compassion

  • Curriculum That Meets Needs: Advocate for curriculum designed to serve all learners, including those in populations who qualify for specialized services and interventions.
  • Responsible Spending: Prioritize early intervention and efficient use of resources so students receive timely support that reduces the need for costlier remediation later.
  • Representation Matters: Review board-level decisions to make sure policies account for the full spectrum of student needs, from general education to specialized support.

Respecting Families, Supporting Students

Parents and guardians are not just stakeholders, they are vital partners in the educational journey of their children. That’s why transparency, communication, and trust between schools and families must remain foundational to how we operate as a district.

Navigating S2 with Innovation and Responsibility

Marlboro has long prioritized the safety and well-being of its students. We are fortunate to have a comprehensive and effective safety and security plan that is constantly evaluated and updated as needed — one supported by a responsive and experienced team that works tirelessly behind the scenes.

Why We Support the Referendum

As a team of parents, educators, and community advocates, we believe that every Marlboro student deserves to learn in a safe, healthy, and equitable environment. That’s why we strongly support the upcoming public referendum to install air conditioning at Asher Holmes and Robertsville Elementary Schools—the only two schools in the district still without it.
